SA Unique Electrical Pty Ltd is a reputable and growing business dealing in all electrical needs
from domestic to commercial, rural and industrial, based in Mt Barker South Australia. We require the
services of an A Class Electrician who has been a tradesman for a minimum of two years and is looking for a full time position, average annual salary will vary (A$75,000- A$83,000) depending on experience & qualifications
Duties will include:
Working in all environments from Commercial, Industrial, Domestic & Rural repairs, maintenance and new installs, we work throughout the hills and metro area.
Essential criteria:
- Will be able to speak and write proficient English, if English is not your first language then you must have as a minimum 7 out of 9 for all 4 components of the IELTS Test.
- The successful candidate will be a self-starter, quick to learn, able to work individually and in a team environment.
- You are expected to report all work done, reorder and book new work electronically, with a wpm of 30 at 98% accuracy, you must be very confident with computers and software and able to self-manage.
- Communication and presentation is a must. You must be able to converse with clients and other trades, you must be able to listen and importantly remember things, take photos, make clear and concise notes.
- Current White Card
- Current Class C license and experienced in driving manual vehicles (Vans).
- Be able to obtain a current Police clearance to work in protected environments.
- Medically fit and will be required to undergo a doctors examination within the first 2 weeks of employment, with eyesight 6/9 in each eye with or without aids.
Extra qualifications that would be an advantage:
- Open Registration with Structured cabling endorsement
- EWP license
- Working at Heights
- Fork lift license
Initially offered as a casual position for 3 months on probation with conversion to permanent employment upon successful completion of your probation.
We work a standard 38hour week with RDO’s using the Master Builder calendar, normal hours are 0800-1630 with 30min lunch, vehicles, uniform and training supplied.
